【世間最大的孝道】---1060401清明法會 ”Greatest Filial Piety in the World” ---Dharma Assembly of the Tomb-Sweeping Festival on April 1, 2017 @ 中華清淨學佛協會

4月1日下午，中華清淨學佛協會舉行清明《佛說阿彌陀經》誦經法會，感恩創辦人段貞夙老師慈悲主持法會，帶領與會大眾虔誠禮誦《佛說阿彌陀經》，祝福六道所有眾生都能往生佛國淨土，究竟解脫。

Association of Pure Buddhist held Dharma Assembly of chanting The Amitabha Sutra for Tomb-Sweeping Festival on the afternoon of April 1, 2017. We were deeply thankful that our Teacher, Susan Duan, led us to chant “The Buddha Speaks of Amitabha Sutra” and prayed for sentient beings of six realms to gain rebirth in a Buddhist Pure Land, and leave from sufferings and attain true happiness.

老師曾教導「世間最大的孝道就是超度先人脫離輪迴。」為圓滿成員們追懷先人、孝親報恩的心意，協會於法會前開放提供希望廻向祝福的往生者名單，當法會圓滿，與會者聽到司儀念出廻向往生親人名字時，更是紅了眼眶，莫不感恩有殊勝因緣能於親人往生後，還有機會盡孝道。

Teacher Susan Duan taught us that the greatest filial piety in the world is to release ancestors from Samsara (wheel of sufferings). Therefore, in order to fulfill members’ wishes to express gratitude to and repay the kindness of their ancestors, Association of Pure Buddhist provided members with chance to bless their deceased relatives and loved ones. Some attendants were on the verge of tears when they heard the names of their deceased relatives and were very thankful to have such a rare chance to carry on filial piety to their deceased relatives.

誦經法會圓滿後，老師應協會之請，慈悲開示，參加法會與自己在家念經的不同，勉勵大眾珍惜參加法會的殊勝因緣；老師並以引導提問的方式及生動的例子，讓與會大眾明白為何執持佛菩薩名號、受持《阿彌陀經》能得諸佛護佑，幾位與會者也分享近日承事時與佛菩薩感應的親身經歷與體悟，在場大眾無不驚歎，三寶是眾生的福田，力量之大，真的不可思議！

After the Dharma Assembly, Teacher Duan was invited by the Association to give the attendants some guidance. Teacher Duan instructed the difference between sutra chanting in the Dharma Assembly and at home, encouraging the attendants to cherish the opportunity to attend the Dharma Assembly. Teacher Duan also taught by questioning why chanting the holy name of the Buddha and Amitabha Sutra can gain protection from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Several attendants also shared their recent personal experiences and understandings by receiving miraculous responses from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas when they were holding buddhist services. All other attendants were amazing a lot that the incredible merits of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha for beings.

提問時間，大眾發問踴躍熱烈---「信心之於學佛的重要性？」、「死後是否還有意識？」、「身後事應如何安排？」......透過老師妙語如珠、生動的比喻，同學不時笑開懷，心中的疑惑也被解答了。

Attendants were so grateful to have the Q&A session and asked proactively---”What is the importance of the belief for one to be a buddhist ? ”, “After someone passed away, will he/she still be conscious?” , ''How to arrange their behind affairs during lifetime? " Through vivid examples taught by Teacher Duan with wit and wisdom, every attendant was moved and felt refreshing and joyful because their questions were resolved.

此次法會莊嚴殊勝，大眾一同誦經祈福，圓滿慎終追遠的心念，亦在聆聽段貞夙老師的開示授法下，解惑修智，眾人皆法喜盈滿，發殷重心珍惜每次參加法會的殊勝因緣。

The Dharma Assembly was solemn and perfect, the attendants chanted sutra with bless, rounding the wish of continuing in reverence for their ancestors. Also, after receiving the instructions of Teacher Susan Duan, everyone felt that their confusions were eliminated and the wisdom was brought forth with deep dharma joy within themselves, and made wishes to cherish every wondrous opportunity to attend Dharma Assembly of sutra chanting.
