前次第九講，老師教導我們《地藏菩薩本願經》第三品，地藏菩薩講述了我們閻浮眾生在六道裡輪轉不停的因與果。使我們明白真正的愛惜保護自己，就是要看好自己的心因。老師勉勵我們以「隨緣消舊業，切莫造新秧」的態度來面對惡緣，如此才是真正幫助自己與他人自在安樂的作法。本次第十講，進入第四品。

In the previous Lecture Nine, the Teacher taught us Chapter Three of “Sutra of the Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.”  The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva instructed us why (the cause and effect) we living beings of Jambudvipa continuously take rebirth in the six realms of samsara continuously. It let us know that truly loving and protecting ourselves is to keep an eye on our minds.  The Teacher also encouraged us to face the bad karma with attitude of “Take advantage of every opportunity to eliminate old karma and not to create new bad karma.”  It is the way to really help ourselves and others proceed to the true freedom and relief.  The Lecture Ten will enter on Chapter Four.
