【本次全員研習】
 
老師於第一段落先以鉢療的方式為我們進行能量的淨化與調整,於是大家原來疲累或紛亂的身心得到了壓力釋放與能量補充。因為先有了鉢療的淨化跟補充能量,彷彿瞬間被灌入十年的功力,得以好好禪修。在這樣的基礎上,當老師帶領我們進入禪修狀態,大家都體會猶如遇見、回到了原來的自己,那樣身心舒暢放鬆、自在自由又溫暖充實的狀態。
 
<In this Study of All Members>
 
The Teacher, Susan Duan, used the method of singing bowl healing to purify and adjust the energy for us at first, so everyone's tired or chaotic body and mind were relieved from pressure and received energy supplement. After the purification and supplement of energy from singing bowl healing, everyone seemed to be empowered with ten years of foundation of meditation, so that everyone was able to meditate in a relaxed but aware state. On this basis, when the Teacher led us to enter the state of meditation, everyone felt like they met and returned to their original self, in a state of relaxation, freedom and warmth.

禪修之後大家紛紛發表鉢療與禪修的心得,老師也又再次應機地教導我們。真的非常感恩老師因深知我們在平日忙碌的工作、生活中,難得有與「真正原來的自己」獨處的時間,因此特地為我們規劃設計了此次全員研習,讓我們在禪修中感受到不再向外抓取、跟自己好好獨處、愛自己的喜悅,更應機教導我們如何將禪修的體會再帶回生活中面對種種人事物。大家都發願要用功練習禪修,期許生活中也能如禪修時清明安定、愉悅。
 
After the meditation, everyone shared their reflection in singing bowl healing and meditation, and then the Teacher taught us further accordingly. We are so grateful to the Teacher for knowing that we rarely have time to be alone with "truly original self" in our busy lives, so that she specially designed this study for us, enabling us to feel the joy of not focusing outward, being along with ourselves and loving ourselves. Furthermore, the Teacher also taught us how to bring the experience of meditation back to life to deal with everything in our daily lives. Everyone vowed to practice meditation diligently, hoping that we are in the daily lives can also be as aware and calm as we were in the meditation.

*錦○:鉢療後在禪修中,覺得既開闊又溫暖

 

老師:太好了,你體會到既開闊又溫暖,所謂開闊是指心的開闊,當心開闊得跟宇宙一樣寬廣,自然能容納一切,因此又溫暖了。所以對你來講,覺得既開闊卻又溫暖是很陌生新鮮的感覺,因為過去你們認為開闊就是冷清孤單,怎麼可能溫暖?但今天你們進入到禪修一定的程度,自然會有這樣的體驗。

 

Student C: After the singing bowl healing, in the meditation, I felt both vast and warm.

 

Teacher: Great! You experienced both vast and warm. The “vast” refers to the vastness of heart. When our hearts are as vast as the universe, one can naturally accommodate everything, so that one can feel warm. Therefore, it is a strange and fresh feeling that being vast but warm for you because in the past you thought that being vast is deserted and lonely, how can it be warm?  However, today you achieved a certain level of meditation, so you naturally had such an experience.
 
*秀○:今天才體驗到原來放鬆練習就是禪修、就是回到當下。
 
Student H: I just experienced today that practice of relaxation itself is meditation and is to back to the present moment.
 
*雅○:鉢療帶來了放鬆,於是禪修中的自己變得很單純。
 
Student Y: The singing bowl healing brought relaxation, so that I felt myself becoming so pure in meditation.
 
*琬○:不需再耽心、包袱放下、很輕盈。
 
Student W: No more worry, the burdens were all released, and I felt that my whole body and mind were both very light.
 
*伶○:原本腰很緊但鉢才敲十秒鐘,腰就鬆了,到了禪修,過程中覺得這就是我自己。
 
Student RJ: Originally my waist was tight, but just after 10 seconds of singing bowl healing, my waist was relaxed. When in the following meditation, I felt that it was the true self during the process.

*敏○:鉢療後坐禪,有種「我終於屬於自己」的感覺。
 
Student MH: When meditating after the singing bowl healing, I had a feeling of "I finally belong to myself".
 
*宛○:猶如在很空曠地方但有金色陽光,遇見原來的自己,發現「原來的自己」可以這麼簡單。
 
Student WL: It seemed to meet the original self in a vast place with golden sunshine. I realized that finding the "original self" could be so easy.

*瑞○:第一次真正體會到怎麼放鬆,身體都放鬆了,心也開心了。
 
老師:心之所以不太習慣不用做什麼。其實在放鬆引導禪修過程說了一段話「放下肩膀上揹負的各種重擔,並不代表你不重要了,甚至是讓你回到自己,因為你對你自己才是最重要的。」
誰會在自己心裡才是最重要?當然是自己。自己在自己心裡才是最重要的,每個人都如此,這很公平。也唯有先回到自己、重視自己,你也才會有能量再給予其他人。如果把自己都掏空,不重視自己,一味地付出,往往會產生或伴隨了憤怒。
 
Student R: It is the first time that I really experienced how to relax. My body was relaxed and my mind was happy.
 
Teacher: Our mind is not used to do nothing because of the following reason--- as I said "Let go of the various burdens on your shoulders doesn’t mean that you are not important anymore. It even makes you back to yourself, because you are the most important to yourself.” during the guidance of relaxation in meditation. 
Who is the most important in one’s mind? It is surely oneself. Oneself is the most important thing in one's own mind. It is the same to everyone. It's very fair. Only when you back to yourself and value yourself first will you have energy to give to others. If you drain yourself, don’t value yourself and keep giving blindly, the giving often generates or is accompanied by anger.

*雍○:今天在禪修中,有與自己團圓,也自由丶不孤單的感覺。今天來之前心臟左肩很緊,能量是虛缐的,鉢療及禪修後充實了。
 
*Student Y: During the meditation today, I felt being reunion with myself, free and not alone. Before coming to the study today, my heart and left shoulder were both very tight, the energy there was empty, but they have been full of energy after the singing bowl healing and meditation.
 
*禎○:鉢療後心情好開闊,接著禪修帶來非常的自在與喜悅。
 
Student J: After the singing bowl healing, I felt that my state of mind was vast, and then the meditation brought great comfort and joy.

*麗○:平常眼睛跟頭部是我身上最緊繃的部位,很難透過觀想放鬆,但在鉢療時,緊繃的頭內部竟然感覺到微微的撕扯,好像有個能量在幫我扯動它的感覺。之後感覺身體很開心,眼睛跟頭也很愉悅,接續完成禪修。結束後,我在這樣放鬆、愉悅的身心狀態下上課,聽到同學神奇的分享,心裡沒有以往會有的羨慕嫉妒進而覺得自己不夠好的情緒。可以很平靜地聆聽,也一起開心,大家好棒,我也好棒的感覺,呵呵。
禪修的過程,有時候腳麻,正當老師說回到當下,於是麗真感覺到腳好像也不麻了。
 
老師:這是真的,其實當你回到當下,原來的各種感覺,也會神奇地自然消散。
 
Student L: My eyes and head are usually the tightest parts of my body, and it is difficult for me to make them relaxed through meditation. However, during the singing bowl healing, I felt my tight head was slightly pulled apart inside, there seemed to be energy helping me to relax it. Afterward, I felt that my body was very happy, and my eyes and head were also very joyful, then I continued to finish the meditation. After the meditation, I joined the study in such a relaxed and joyful state of mind and body. When I heard the magical sharing from my classmates, I neither felt envious and jealous nor further felt that I was not good enough that I had in the past. I could listen calmly and had fun together.  I felt that everyone was great, and I was great, too. Ha ha…
During the meditation, sometimes my feet were numb. But when the Teacher guided us to back to the moment, I felt that my feet were no longer numb.
 
Teacher: This is true. In fact, when you back to the moment, all the original feelings will magically disappear naturally.

*美○:隨著老師最後的提問,我有喜歡禪修也有不喜歡禪修,喜歡是因為禪修時,當下什麼都不用做(攀緣丶抓取丶證明自己的存在),很自在充實。
不喜歡是因為會腳麻,也害怕看到心理的問題。但緊接著心底又出來一個聲音:能發現問題才能解決問題呀,於是心裡又開心了。
 
Student M: As the Teacher asked us the final questions in the study, my answer was that on one hand, I like today’s meditation because I didn’t have to do anything in the present (no chasing, grasping, and proving myself) during meditation, and I was very comfortable and fulfilling, but on the other hand, I don't like meditation because my feet would be numb when meditating, and I was also afraid of facing my mental problem. But then another voice came out from the bottom of my mind: “Only when the problems are found can they be solved.” Then I was happy again.
 
*懷○:今天是這輩子第一次真正體驗到什麼是禪修,因為以前這麼多年禪修,大部分都在昏聵或睡著的狀態,但因為今天老師特別在禪修前為我們做鉢療,放鬆淨化與調整能量後,我可以淸明地在禪修狀態裡體驗身與心合一的感覺。
 
Student H: This is the first time in my life that I have truly experienced what meditation is, because for so many years of meditation, most of time I were in a faint or asleep state. However, due to the Teacher especially did singing bowl healing for us before meditation to relax, purify and adjust our energy, I could clearly experience the unity of body and mind in the state of meditation.
