民國1061112日的佛學講座,段老師講述地藏菩薩本願經第三品。隨著經文,老師帶領我們看到摩耶夫人請問地藏菩薩,地藏菩薩講述了我們閻浮眾生在六道裡輪轉不停,究竟是做了甚麼事,種了甚麼因,然後因為這個因,在甚麼緣之下,結出了甚麼果,首先直指最嚴重的五無間罪報及它的果報。為了避免我們初學者心生疑惑或毀謗,老師特別以生活中淺顯的例子來比喻說明,使我們從理性上了解為何不孝乃至殺害父母、毀壞佛法僧三寶,會招致難以想像的可怕果報,所謂的地獄罪報其實都是眾生自己的身口意召感來的。透過這樣的理解,使我們明白真正的愛惜保護自己,就是要看好自己的心,因為這世間的一切都脫離不了自然的因果法則,即使我們還沒法立刻脫離輪迴,但至少不要讓自己墮入三惡道。

 

The Dharma Lecture on November 12, 2017, Teacher Duan gave a speech on Chapter Three of “Sutra of the Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva”. The Teacher led us to read paragraphs of Sutra about Queen Maya asked the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and the Bodhisattva instructed us the reason we living beings of Jambudvipa continuously take rebirth in the six realms of samsara without a halt--- what exactly we did to lead to it, and how the different things we do under what kind of circumstances cause different karma. First of all, the Bodhisattva directly pointed to the most severe five incessant karmic retribution. To prevent us(beginners) from confusion and slander, the Teacher especially illustrated with simple examples of our life to make us understand rationally why being unfilial toward parents, even killing them, and doing damage to the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha will bring about unimaginably horrible karmic consequences. Actually, the so-called karmic retribution of Hell is called by beings’ own behaviors, speech and mind. Through such comprehension, we knew how to truly love and protect ourselves---take good care of our mind because everything in this world can’t be separated from the nature rule of “cause and effect”. Although we can’t immediately leave the samsara, at least we can protect ourselves from falling in three evil realms.

106年9月17日下午,秋日的陽光伴隨著微微的風,暖人而不熾熱,清淨學佛協會書房裡的眾人,也以明媚雀躍的心情迎來期待已久的全員研習!

On the afternoon of September 17, 2017, the sun of the autumn was accompanied by gentle wind, warm but not hot. In the study of the Association of Pure Buddhist were there students whose moods were as bright as the sunshine greeting with a long-awaited study!

感謝老師於106年9月3日帶領眾人及親友一同恭誦《地藏菩薩本願經》。老師教導我們將誦經的利益功德迴向給無量世界的所有眾生,願所有眾生在痛苦、煩惱、業力中,皆有因緣與諸佛菩薩結緣,踏上離苦得樂、明白實相、恢復清淨本性的菩提道。
也迴向給在場大眾及大眾們累世的父母寃親,皆得現世安樂、業障盡除、早聞佛法、証得究竟解脫。

 

Thank our Teacher, Susan Duan, for leading all the members of the Association and the relatives to chant the “Sutra of the Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva” together on September 3, 2017. The Teacher taught us to dedicate all the merits of chanting the Sutra to all beings of innumerable worlds, wishing all the beings who are in the painfulness, vexations and karma can have causes and conditions to connect with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and step on the path of enlightenment making themselves free from sufferings and gain happiness, realize the truth and restore the nature of pureness.

 因順應農曆七月中元節本地習俗,協會於106年9月將舉辦《地藏菩薩本願經》誦經法會,以實踐過往我們在講座所學的---以法布施眾生,歡迎 報名參加。

本次全員研習接續上次的觀察練習,藉著自己所觀察到的與實際的落差,發現了自己的心的問題,進而去對治它。由此也明白「萬法唯心造」,而混濁不定的心,又會造就出甚麼樣的人生?

Following from the observation practice of last time, this Study of All Members was designed by our Teacher Susan Duan helped us find the problems in our mind through the gap between our observation and the reality so that we can antidote them. Therefore, we realized that “All things were created by our mind”. And what kind of life will the muddy and unstable heart bring to us?
