順應農曆七月中元節本地習俗，協會將舉辦中元法會，恭誦《地藏菩薩本願經》，使眾人得到修持《地藏菩薩本願經》的二十八種利益(註)，並實踐過往我們所學---以法布施眾生，歡迎報名參加。

Conforming to the custom of Zhongyuan Festival (Ghost Festival) in the seventh lunar month, the Association of Pure Buddhist will hold a Dharma Assembly of chanting “Sutra of the Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (the Sutra)” in August to enable people practicing the Sutra to gain twenty-eight kinds of benefits (Note) and to practice what we have learned previously---to give the Dharma to sentient beings. Welcome your participation!

*Because August is the peak typhoon season, if the government announces that Taipei City will suspend work or classes on the day, to ensure everyone's safety, the Dharma assembly of chanting will be cancelled, and a mobile phone text message will be notified immediately.

Note: Be protected by Devas and Nagas; wholesome effects increase daily; accumulate superior causes for holiness; never retreat from bodhi; have abundant food and clothing; not be infected by diseases or pestilence; not be in disasters of flood or fire; not fall victim to robbery or theft; people admire and respect them; be supported by spirits and ghosts; women (who wish to) will be reborn as men; be daughters of kings or ministers (if reborn as women); be good looking and with perfect features; frequently be reborn in the heavens; may be emperors or kings; have the wisdom to know past lives; will fulfill their wishes; their family members will be happy; untoward dire occurrences will be eliminated; forever leave the karmic paths; will pass through safely wherever they go; dreams at night will be peaceful and happy; their deceased relatives will leave suffering behind; be reborn on the strength of their past merit; be praised by saint; be intelligent and have keen faculties; their hearts will be replete with kindness and compassion; ultimately become Buddha.
