今年的中元法會距離上次的中元法會已時隔三年(因為新冠疫情)，所以大家都十分歡喜能有機會來參加。
It has been three years to hold Dharma Assembly of the Zhongyuan Festival of this year since the last one (Due to the epidemic of Covid-19), everyone was very happy to have the opportunity to participate.
法會一開始，段老師先讓大家對此經發起殊勝且正確的認識，以慈悲心及感恩心迴向眾生來發心，接著帶領與會者一起唸誦了《地藏菩薩本願經》、持聖號、禪修
At the beginning of Dharma Assembly, Teacher Duan firstly asked everyone to have a profound and correct understanding to this sutra to return the aspirations of all beings with compassion and gratitude. Then she led the attendees to chant “Sutra of The Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva”, hold the holy name, and meditate together.
誦經完成後，段老師以經文中一段文字為前提，為我們做了簡短但直指人心的教導，令我們明白：地獄雖說在鐵圍山之內，其實是在我們的心中，當得到三寶善知識接引後，如何不要再次履踐通往地獄的險道，除了保持覺知自己的起心動念，更重要的是誠實面對自己的心究竟在渴望、逃避什麼，否則因蔓不斷，永處痛苦，無解脫時。
After chanting, then Teacher Duan gave us a brief and direct teaching based on a passage in the scriptures, letting us understand that although hell is in Iron Enclosing Mountain, in fact it is in our own hearts. How to not go down the dangerous road to the hell again? In addition to remaining aware of your own minds, it is more important to be honest about what your heart desires and what you escape from. Otherwise, the causes continue one by one restlessly, you will consequently stay in pain forever, without relief.
